A hand carved wood American Widgeon duck decoy with generally brown body, glass eyes, and scored beak. Feathers naively outlined in dark red paint. The underside has an owner's metal plaque. The previous owner stated that the duck came from Kentucky, and my observation is that it was a working decoy as opposed to a decorative one. It has an anchor hook in the front to which is attached the lanyard and metal anchor, also stamped with the owner's name.
I do not warrant the originality of the paint or condition of the decoy. Please ask questions or request more photos to help determine its state. Over all, the duck is in very good condition.
